Job summary

Evergreen Goodwill is seeking a Material Handler to unload donations and move goods to production areas. You will sort donations, maintain tallies, and ensure a smooth flow of materials to the production floor in an outdoor/warehouse setting.

Position is non-exempt and hourly, with a pay rate of $18.25–$20.55 per hour depending on experience. Requires 18+ years old and ability to work in varying temperatures with safety awareness.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalency preferred, but not required.
• No experience required.
• Applicants must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Unload donations from containers and move goods to production areas.
• Sort donations into appropriate bins for processing.
• Provide a smooth flow of goods to the production floor.
• Identify and manage salvage material and garbage from salable goods.
• Maintain donor tallies and a clean work environment.
• Demonstrate safe work practices and report hazards or accidents.
• Support forklift operations when certified to Seattle Goodwill standards, if applicable.
