Job summary

Goodwill of the Southern Alleghenies seeks a Team Member to help meet daily store goals by processing donated goods and operating the cash register. You will assist customers and donors, maintain accurate cash procedures, and ensure a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications are minimal with no formal education required; background checks will be completed. The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• No formal education is required.
• Must be able to obtain acceptable results for required background checks, including Act 151 Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance and Pennsylvania Criminal History Check.

Responsibilities

• Greet, thank, and build rapport with customers and donors.
• Assist customers.
• Process donations and issue receipts; maintain inventory levels.
• Maintain a clean, safe interior and exterior environment.
• Maintain accurate cash register procedures.
• Accept, record, sort, and process donations.
• Assist in loading/unloading of donated goods as needed.
• Operate a pallet jack if applicable.
• Clock in/out using UKG systems and submit timesheets on time.
• Complete required training throughout the year.
• Work well with store and agency staff.
• Maintain hygiene and grooming standards.
• Communicate clearly, verbally and in writing.
