Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Arkansas is seeking a Driver/Material Handler responsible for the safe transport of donations to retail locations. You will pick up donations from donor homes and businesses, coordinate daily truck routing, and ensure logs are kept up to date.

You may supervise and train new material handlers and help maintain a clean, hazard-free plant environment while travel across Arkansas is required. A valid license and DOT readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid state driver's license and be insurable by the company's insurance carrier.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Travel throughout the State of Arkansas.

Responsibilities

• Transport donated goods between donor homes, centers and retail locations.
• Maintain transportation logs and ensure trucks are safe and stocked.
• Coordinate daily scheduling and routing of trucks with Donations Manager.
• May supervise and train new material handlers as needed.
• Drive trucks in a safe, compliant manner and assist with plant duties when required.
