Job summary

Foster Thrift, a Foster First division in Kennewick, seeks a dependable Donation Processor to turn donations into retail impact. The role covers donation intake, sorting, pricing, and preparation for the sales floor, with additional duties on the retail floor including cashiering and display setup.

The position is full-time, averaging about 35 hours weekly, with some Saturdays required. You’ll be part of a team serving youth and families through community donations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Proof of auto insurance at hire and annually.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Comfort with a fast-paced, physically active environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, evaluate, price, and prepare donated merchandise for the sales floor.
• Assist donors with a friendly, professional demeanor; provide receipts when needed.
• Unloading donations and maintaining a clean, organized processing area.
• Support cashiering, cleaning, organizing merchandise, and displaying products.
• Meet daily/weekly processing goals and communicate with staff.
