Job summary

Many Hands Thrift is seeking a friendly Processor to join our mission-driven team. You’ll be the donation gatekeeper, greeting donors and determining item value while ensuring quality control for the floor.

You’ll also design attractive displays that showcase donated goods and, when needed, assist with cashiering to provide excellent customer service and support the ministry of Many Hands.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Ability to accurately determine the value of donated items.
• Prolonged periods of standing.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Be the donation gatekeeper: warmly receive items from donors.
• Treasure hunter & appraiser: sort, evaluate, and assign fair prices to items.
• Visual storytelling: create attractive, eye-catching displays for the store.
• Quality control: evaluate items for condition to ensure quality on the floor.
• Team player: assist with cashiering as needed and provide excellent customer service.
