Job summary

Goodwill Southeast Georgia is seeking a retail associate to assist donors, process donations, and maintain a clean, safe store environment. You will greet donors, help unload donations, provide tax receipts, and ensure accurate daily counts and records.

The role emphasizes fast, reliable processing, adherence to policies, and teamwork in a busy store setting, with evenings/weekends/holidays required.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Good eyesight and color definition.
• Ability to hear in a busy environment.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Reading and writing skills; flexible schedule including evenings/weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to donors and customers.
• Greet donors and assist unloading donations; offer tax receipts.
• Break down donations into categories and maintain accurate records.
• Keep drive-through and work areas clean and organized.
• Follow safety and security practices; report hazards.
• Process all donations within 24 hours when possible; handle hard goods first.
• Perform additional duties as needed by store management.
