Job summary

Goodwill Southeast Georgia is seeking a warehouse associate to process donated goods and support store operations. You will presort items, move materials between stations, and assist donors with unloading and receipts. Maintain records, pack seasonal items, and help with shipments.

Candidates should have a HS diploma or equivalent, strong communication, and the ability to assess goods. A flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED or any job-related experience that provides necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Good eyesight and color definition.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to quickly assess goods and determine routing.
• Functional reading and writing skills.
• Ability to use hand truck.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Presort into textiles, hardline goods, and trash as assigned.
• Move materials between workstations as needed.
• Receive donated goods and assist donors unloading and providing receipts.
• Maintain accurate donation records daily.
• Pack seasonal items in containers and label.
• Assist in filing store shipment requirements and related paperwork.
• Keep work areas clean and neat and ensure safety compliance.
• Grade textiles and hardlines to store expectations.
• Meet production goals and maintain productivity.
• Communicate donation policies professionally to customers and donors.
