Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont is hiring for a full-time position in Charlotte. You will greet donors, assist with unloading donations, and provide receipts while following safety guidelines and maintaining merchandise quality.

The role involves stocking, pricing, and preparing items for sale, with indoor and outdoor exposure. Training is provided; you’ll join a mission-driven team focused on community impact and personal growth.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Able to follow safety procedures and perform physical tasks.
• Reliable and ready to work in a team.
• Active role with standing, lifting up to 100+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors, assist with unloading donations, and provide receipts.
• Sort, inspect, and price merchandise following safety and quality guidelines.
• Move items to the sales floor and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Load/unload donation trailers and handle custodial tasks throughout your shift.
• Track donation counts accurately and help maintain store cleanliness, including cart retrieval.
• Report any safety, theft, or security concerns to management.
• Support the team with additional duties as needed.
• You’ll be working indoors and outdoors with exposure to the elements
