Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont in Lincolnton, NC is hiring a store associate to greet donors, unload donations, and price merchandise. You will work indoors and outdoors, with training provided for all duties and opportunities for advancement as you grow with the team.

Expect to stand, walk, lift items up to 100+ pounds, and follow safety procedures while helping maintain a clean and welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• Able to follow safety procedures and handle physical tasks (lifting, standing, moving merchandise).

Responsibilities

• Greet donors, assist with unloading donations, and provide receipts.
• Sort, inspect, and price merchandise following safety and quality guidelines.
• Move items to the sales floor and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Load/unload donation trailers and handle custodial tasks throughout your shift.
• Track donation counts accurately and help maintain store cleanliness, including cart retrieval.
• Report any safety, theft, or security concerns to management.
• Support the team with additional duties as needed.
• You’ll be working indoors and outdoors with exposure to the elements
