Job summary

Alabama Goodwill Industries in Guntersville, AL is seeking a Production Team Member to help move and process donations, price merchandise, and prepare items for the sales floor, with emphasis on accuracy and safety.

You will sort incoming donations, stock items, provide customer service, and follow the 10-point quality check to ensure items meet standards for sale, salvage, or trash. A team-oriented environment helps meet daily production goals while maintaining a neat, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of retail and/or stock handling.
• Ability to recognize items appropriate for sale and price merchandise.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and counts.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming donations and issue donation receipts.
• Sort donations into proper categories and assess quality for sale, salvage, or trash.
• Price hardlines using the price guide and place items on the sales floor when ready.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the processing area and work environment.
• Provide world-class customer service and meet daily production counts.
