Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking a store associate to help maximize store efficiency and appearance while delivering excellent customer service. You will process donations, tag and stage items for the sales floor, and collaborate with teammates to meet daily production standards.

The role requires adaptability, a positive attitude, and the ability to work evenings/weekends. A Criminal background check is required, and some assignments may involve lifting and physical tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; combination of education and work experience considered.
• No previous experience required.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Inspect donations and assess quality for marketability per Retail Operations Manual.
• Sort raw materials for store use, salvage, or trash.
• Tag and hang items for placement on the sales floor per rotation system.
• Produce items daily to meet minimum standards; maintain appearance and organization.
• Adhere to uniform dress code and safety policies; work well in a fast-paced team.
