Job summary

Mel Trotter Mission Thrift LLC is seeking a full-time team member to support the donation processing area. The role includes accepting donations, presorting and pricing merchandise, greeting donors, and ensuring a respectful donation experience.

You will keep work areas clean and organized while following company policies and mission values. The candidate should be a reliable, detail-oriented communicator who can work in a fast-paced thrift-store environment and help meet daily production goals

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED (preferred).
• Must be a people person with a friendly, service-minded attitude.
• Excellent English communication, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Handle donations processing, presorting, and pricing merchandise.
• Greet donors respectfully and communicate Mel Trotter’s mission.
• Maintain clean, organized processing and reception areas.
• Follow all employee policies and procedures.
• Research market value of merchandise when needed.
• Collaborate with Processing Manager and team to meet production goals.
• Meet daily/weekly production targets; track performance via dashboards.
• Assist in scheduling and delegation with Processing Manager.
