Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Southgate, MI is seeking a dedicated Retail Store Processor to sort, tag, and price donated merchandise and help keep the store organized. This full-time role requires 40 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with paid training and ongoing coaching from store leadership.

Responsibilities

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Provide friendly, helpful service to donors
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
• May make bank runs, price items, or cross train in another department
• Paid training on store procedures
• Ongoing coaching and support from store leadership
