Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking a Donation Coordinator to identify partnerships and programs that increase donations for the ARC Command. The role emphasizes organized outreach, donor stewardship, and event coordination to support ARC and thrift store programs.

Based in Phoenix, the coordinator will cover the Phoenix area, engaging HOA communities and churches to drive gifts-in-kind and large-scale donation events in a fast-paced nonprofit environment.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in community relations, nonprofit development, donor relations or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication with ability to build relationships with community orgs and donors.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Solicit and secure gifts-in-kind from HOA communities and Church partners.
• Develop and maintain community partnerships to generate donation events.
• Coordinate donation drives and communicate with transportation teams for successful execution.
• Document outreach activities and track donation results.
