Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont is hiring for a full-time associate. You’ll greet donors, unload donations, sort and price merchandise, and help move items to the sales floor.

This role requires lifting up to 100 pounds, standing for long periods, and outdoor/indoor tasks. No experience needed—training is provided. The team enjoys benefits including medical/dental/vision, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and employee discounts.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors, assist with unloading donations, and provide receipts.
• Sort, inspect, and price merchandise following safety and quality guidelines.
• Move items to the sales floor and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Load/unload donation trailers and handle custodial tasks throughout your shift.
• Track donation counts accurately and help maintain store cleanliness, including cart retrieval.
• Report any safety, theft, or security concerns to management.
• Support the team with additional duties as needed.
• You’ll be working indoors and outdoors with exposure to the elements.
