Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont is hiring for a donation associate. You will greet donors, assist with unloading donations, and ensure receipts are provided. There is no prior experience required as training is provided.

Responsibilities include sorting and pricing merchandise, moving items to the sales floor, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Roles involve indoor and outdoor tasks with physical activity, and opportunities for raises and bonuses over time.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Able to lift up to 100+ pounds.
• Stand, walk, and perform physical tasks safely.
• Reliable and trustworthy.
• Open to feedback and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors, assist with unloading donations, and provide receipts.
• Sort, inspect, and price merchandise following safety and quality guidelines.
• Move items to the sales floor and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Load/unload donation trailers and handle custodial tasks throughout the shift.
• Track donation counts accurately and help maintain store cleanliness, including cart retrieval.
• Report safety, theft, or security concerns to management.
• Support the team with additional duties as needed.
• Work indoors and outdoors with exposure to the elements.
