Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont is seeking team members to greet donors, assist with donations, and process receipts. You will sort and price merchandise, move items to the floor, and help keep areas clean. The role includes loading donation trailers, custodial tasks, and reporting safety concerns.

Qualifications

• No experience required—we’ll provide training.
• Able to follow safety procedures and handle physical tasks (lifting, standing, moving merchandise).
• Open to feedback and eager to grow through free skill-building opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors, assist with unloading donations, and provide receipts.
• Sort, inspect, and price merchandise following safety and quality guidelines.
• Move items to the sales floor and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Load/unload donation trailers and handle custodial tasks throughout your shift.
• Track donation counts accurately and help maintain store cleanliness, including cart retrieval.
• Report any safety, theft, or security concerns to management.
• Support the team with additional duties as needed.
• You’ll be working indoors and outdoors with exposure to the elements
