Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Southern NJ and Philadelphia is hiring for a donation processing associate. You will assist donors, accept and process donations, and maintain an organized production area.

You will load items for customers, label outgoing donations, and support sales of furniture and large items. You will operate pallet jack and forklift, perform safety checks, and cross-train as Barcoder and Processor Trainee to support personal growth and store productivity.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused role requiring clear communication and courtesy.
• Commitment to safety, hygiene and PPE usage as required.
• Ability to sort and label donations accurately according to category.
• Willingness to assist donors, load items and move furniture as needed.
• Willingness to cross-train as Barcoder and Processor Trainee for growth.

Responsibilities

• Accept donations from customers and provide a positive experience.
• Process, label, and organize donations in the production area.
• Assist customers with loading furniture or large items.
• Present waivers and process sale tickets for furniture and other large items.
• Operate pallet jack and forklift safely; perform daily equipment inspections.
• Report injuries and safety hazards to store management promptly.
