Job summary

Goodwill of the San Francisco Bay is seeking a full-time store associate in Fairfield, CA. You will welcome donors, process donations, label items, and assist customers with loading furniture and heavy items.

You will also operate pallet equipment and help maintain organized production rooms and sales floors. The role requires excellent customer service, ability to pass forklift certification, and eligibility to work age 18+ with English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to pass a forklift certification class.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.
• Must be able to read and speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Accept donations from customers and provide outstanding customer service.
• Label Gaylords correctly.
• Provide receipts to donors for all donations.
• Assist customers with loading/unloading furniture or large items.
• Operate pallet jack and walkie stacker; follow safety procedures.
• Cross-train in other store positions as needed.
