Position Overview

Accept donations at our standalone or storefront donation centers and provide excellent customer service to donors.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the donation center as scheduled, following departmental guidelines.
• Accept donations, greet donors, assist with donations, and complete receipts accurately. Politely refuse and refer donors when necessary, and thank each donor.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the site, including sweeping, trash removal, and storing donations neatly.
• Complete daily administrative tasks such as counting donors, sorting, and submitting receipts, and maintaining tally sheets.
• Safeguard donations and company property from damage and theft, treating all with respect and care.
• Communicate needs, safety concerns, and unusual situations to supervisors promptly.
• Load donations into bins, organize inside trailers, and assist truck helpers and drivers with loading donations.
• Coordinate with Dispatch regarding product volumes and transportation needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months to one year of customer service experience preferred.
