Youngstown Area Goodwill Industries, Inc. is hiring a Donation Center Attendant in Hermitage, PA to warmly greet donors, sort donations, and keep the donation area organized.

You will provide receipts and share information about Goodwill’s mission while ensuring items meet quality standards. The role is part-time with flexible hours, including weekends, and may move to a full-time schedule as store needs evolve.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable with a commitment to punctuality and consistent attendance.
• No criminal background that would be unsuitable for a retail environment (background check required).
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Previous experience in customer service or donation processing is a plus but not required.

Job Summary

We are seeking a courteous and dependable Donation Center Attendant to manage our donation drop-off area at ourHermitage, PA, Goodwill store. This role is crucial in providing a positive experience for donors while ensuring donations are handled efficiently. The ideal candidate is physically capable, customer-focused, and committed to regular attendance.

Schedule & Availability

• Part-time position with flexible hours based on store needs. Possibility of moving to full-time (30-40 hours per week) in the future.
• Store operates 7 days a week: Monday-Saturday, 9 AM-8 PM; Sunday, 12 PM-5 PM.
• Must be available to work weekends and evenings as scheduled.
