Job summary

Goodwill Gulf Coast is seeking a Donation Center Attendant to support donor experience and processing of donations at our center. You will greet donors, unload items, count and sort donations, and keep the center clean and efficient.

You will also assist with truck loading, generate daily reports, and coordinate with staff to ensure doors stay open on schedule. Flexibility for evenings/weekends is required.

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers within 10 seconds and provide friendly service and information.
• Assist with unloading donations from donors’ vehicles and accept donations left outside the store.
• Keep an accurate count of donations and sort items into designated areas.
• Maintain a clean, organized work center and keep exterior/interior donation areas in Goodwill standards.
• Offer donor receipts and complete daily donor counts; coordinate with truck drivers and assist with loading.
• Complete daily reports, including in/out logs and zip code reports; monitor supplies and reorder as needed.
• Sort shoes, belts, and purses; count donations in donation box and outside center.
• Open and close donation center, report arrival times and any closures; may work at a store location one day per week.
• Other duties as assigned.
