Job summary

Goodwill Lakewood is seeking a Full Time Donation Attendant to join our production team. You’ll process and sort donations, greet donors, and help unload/load trucks while maintaining a clean work area.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service, teamwork, and strong communication. Benefits include insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. This is an on-site position in Lakewood, WA.

Responsibilities

• Accepting donations from donors and issues receipts as necessary.
• Keeps donation indoor/outdoor areas clean, neat, and free of debris.
• Training on Gaylord and pallet use will be provided.
• Assists in the unloading/loading of trucks and/or trailers.
• Must possess exceptional customer service skills: greets donors, carries donations from donor’s vehicle to the center, and provides donor receipt if requested.
• Exercises good judgement in determining which donations are acceptable while communicating that decision to the customer effectively and politely as possible.
• Maintains all required records and delivers them to supervisors or drivers as scheduled.
