Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking a dedicated Donation Attendant for our Old Pasadena location. You will maintain the donation area, assist donors, and ensure proper handling of donated items. The role includes paperwork, item sorting, and supporting drivers with loading donations.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, ability to read/write, and strong communication with staff and donors. This is a full-time, on-site position with benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED.
• Must pass background check (Criminal History & Sex Offender Registry).
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, staff, customers, and donors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean the Donation trailer/pod area at the start and end of each shift.
• Assist donors in receipt of donated items and provide receipts.
• Maintain reports and paperwork as instructed by Supervisor.
• Sort donated materials into proper containers and stack as instructed.
• Assist TSA PA/Drivers with loading donations onto trucks as needed.
• Inform supervisor of needed items (e.g., brooms, totes).
• Secure and lock Donation trailer/pod at end of shift.
