Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Donation Attendant for its Redondo Beach area. This on-site, full-time role supports donors by unloading donated items, issuing receipts, and keeping the donation area organized.

You will follow the organization's dress code, assist drivers, record reports, sort materials, and maintain good relations with store managers. Prior customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively with donors and staff.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience providing customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist donors in unloading donations from vehicles and provide receipts.
• Maintain and clean the donation area and trailer at shifts.
• Follow dress code and maintain neat appearance.
• Record reports and paperwork as directed by Supervisor.
• Sort donated materials into proper containers and stack them.
• Help TSA drivers load donations onto trucks as needed.
• Notify Supervisor when supplies run low (brooms, receipts, totes, carts).
• Secure the donation area at the end of each shift.
• Maintain good relationships with store managers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
