Job summary

Alabama Goodwill Industries is seeking a dedicated team member to support donation centers. The role focuses on greeting donors, processing donations, counting and recording items, and assisting with secure transport to stores and warehouses.

You will be responsible for maintaining donor records, managing supplies, and following safety protocols. Flexibility to work at multiple sites is expected to meet community needs.

Qualifications

• Read, write, and communicate verbally; perform basic math.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Open availability and reliable transportation required.
• Drug screen and background check required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors in a prompt, friendly, and courteous manner within 10 seconds.
• Unload donations from vehicles and provide tax receipts.
• Sort donations and secure items for transport to stores and warehouse.
• Keep accurate daily counts of donations and donor records.
• Maintain supplies and ensure safety and security practices are followed.
