Goodwill-Industries-of-Arkansa is seeking a Donation Center Associate to assist contributors with donations, issue receipts, and move materials within the store. You will maintain a professional, courteous attitude and support a positive ACE culture in all interactions.

Responsibilities include pre-sorting donations, loading and unloading with a hand truck, separating salvage, and helping with daily records. Must lift up to 50 lbs and work well in a team.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–6 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Assist contributors with donations and issue receipts.
• Maintain a professional, courteous attitude at all times.
• Pre-sort donations by category and safely pack for transport.
• Move materials with a hand truck and assist with loading/unloading.
• Unload truck and help distribute goods to staging areas.
• Keep the donation center clean and safe; follow safety rules.
• Complete daily and weekly records as assigned.
• Refuse unacceptable items politely.
• Treat every donor as a guest, per ACE culture.

Job DescriptionAssists contributors with donations and move materials within the store as needed.Uphold a positive work environment that follows Goodwill's Amazing Customer Experience (ACE) culture, Values, and Mission in everything you do and every interaction you have with co-workers, clients, customers and management.Essential Duties and Responsibilities1. Accepts donations by providing assistance to contributors and issuing donation receipts.2. Maintains a professional and courteous attitude at all times, willing to be flexible and assume new job responsibilities, as needed.3. Commits to self and job improvement and team building.4. Treats every customer and contributor as if they were a GUEST in their home. GUEST stands for Greet, Understand, Explain, Suggest and Thank.5. Pre-sort donations, separates salvage and removes.6. Uses hand truck to move materials around donation center and/or moves materials within the store as needed.7. Accepts donations of good quality and politely refuses unacceptable items.8. Pre-sorts donations by established categories and safely packs for transport.9. Helps to unload unfinished goods from truck and moves to proper staging area and assists team members with distribution of goods.10. Maintains a clean and safe environment.11. Completes accurate daily and weekly records when assigned.12.
