Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking a Donation Associate to help customers with donated goods, ensuring safe and accurate pre-sorting and labeling. You will greet donors, assist unloading, and sort by category while maintaining a secure, organized workspace.

Role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and adherence to safety, privacy, and security policies. Evening/weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• No prior professional experience required.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous service to all customers.
• Assist donors by greeting them and helping unload their vehicle.
• Presort donations by category and label them accordingly.
• Safely, efficiently, and accurately load trailers.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area for safety.
• Follow department policies and report issues to supervision.
