Marion Goodwill Industries is seeking a Donation Attendant at our Lewis Center location. The role emphasizes outstanding customer service, processing donations quickly, and maintaining a safe, welcoming site for donors and shoppers.

You will greet donors, help unload items, provide tax receipts, and ensure accurate daily counts. This hands-on position supports a mission-driven culture and offers growth opportunities within a growing organization.

Qualifications

• Friendly, reliable, and team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to read, write, communicate clearly, and perform basic math.
• Basic computer skills.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. regularly, stand, bend, and perform repetitive motion tasks.
• Reliable transportation and commitment to a drug-free workplace.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist donors promptly and courteously (within 10 seconds).
• Help donors unload items and provide tax receipts.
• Ensure stewardship of donations and maintain accurate daily counts.
• Separate wares from textiles and prepare items for processing.
• Keep donation site clean, safe, and organized.
• Track and report donor activity and equipment needs accurately.
• Support transportation team with equipment when needed.
• Follow Goodwill's guiding principles, including processing all donations within 24 hours.
