Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Akron, OH is hiring an entry-level Donation Attendant / Stock Associate. You will greet donors, accept, load, unload and price donations, and ensure items are categorized and priced accurately. You will test electronics and apply coupons or receipts with a friendly smile, while keeping records up to date.

You will also support safe work practices, assist in promoting our mission to serve the community, and work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and load donations for clothing, furniture, and other household goods.
• Ability to work outside in whatever Mother Nature throws our way.
• Customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Accept, load, unload, sort, and price donations.
• Provide coupons, receipts, and friendly service to donors.
• Sort clothing and household goods into categories and price electronics after testing.
• Maintain accurate donation records and promote participant development.
• Follow safety procedures and keep the work area clean.
