Job summary

Arc Thrift Stores in Littleton, CO is seeking a Donation Attendant to help process donated items, price merchandise, and maintain a clean, safe shopping area. You will assist shoppers on the floor and support pricing activities as part of a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Stocks the sales floor with priced merchandise.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Assists the department pricers in achieving sales and production goals.
• Assists customers on the sales floor.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Store Manager/Assistant Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Selects items to be priced.
• Removes and discards trash from donated merchandise.
• Cleans merchandise as necessary.
• Sorts merchandise for the department pricer.
• Depending on the type of merchandise either tags the items before or after pricing.
• Stocks the sales floor with priced merchandise.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Assists the department pricers in achieving sales and production goals.
• When on the sales floor assists customers in their shopping experience.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Store Manager/Assistant Manager.

Education and/or Experience Required

• Some retail or production experience is desired but not required.

Physical Demands

• Works inside in a production and retail environment.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak, hear, stand and move throughout the store.
• Use upper body strength to frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally be exposed to dust from donations.
