Job summary

Arc Thrift Stores in Bowles - Littleton, CO seeks a Pricer to price and merchandise donations, keeping displays attractive and items well-stocked on the floor. The role supports sales targets and customer service in a fast-paced thrift environment.

You will adjust prices to maximize value, maintain seasonal stock, and assist customers as needed. FLSA Non Exempt with day shifts, full-time employment.

Responsibilities

• Achieves department's sales targets by reviewing targets weekly with the store manager and supervisor.
• Maintain target price per item and use the price grid as a guideline in departments.
• Sort, hang, and price donations for assigned departments.
• Display merchandise in designated area(s) on the sales floor.
• Provide a sufficient quantity of merchandise daily to assigned departments.
• Keep the production area clean and stocked.
• Adjust merchandise prices up or down to maximize value when not selling or selling too quickly.
• Keep the sales floor shoppable by ragging, balancing, and rotating seasonal merchandise.
• Recognize seasonal merchandise and store properly in storage boxes with labels.
• Assist customers with service.
• Performs other duties and special assignments as directed, including tasks outside primary area.

FLSA Status – Non Exempt

Prices assigned departmental merchandise to receive maximum value. Maintains merchandise on the sales floor. Ensures an adequate supply of seasonal merchandise by sorting out-of-season merchandise. Reports directly to assistant store manager or the he Store Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Achieves assigned department’s sales targets by:
  • Reviewing department sales targets weekly with the store manager and supervisor,
  • Maintain target price per item,
  • Using the price grid as a guideline in departments.
• Supplies the store with merchandise by sorting, hanging, and pricing donations for assigned departments.
• Displays merchandise in designated area(s) on the sales floor.
• Supplies a sufficient quantity (according to performance standards) of merchandise daily to assigned departments.
• Assures the production department is clean and materials are stocked.
• Adjusts merchandise prices up or down to achieve maximum value, when merchandise is not selling, or is selling to quickly.
• Keeps sales floor shoppable by ragging, balancing, and rotating seasonal merchandise.
• Ensures an adequate supply of seasonal merchandise by recognizing seasonal merchandise, placing it in storage boxes and properly labeling the storage boxes.
• Assists with customer’s service.
• Performs other duties and special assignments as directed, including assignments which may be outside the [primary area of employment.

Physical Demands

• Works inside in a production and retail environment.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak, hear, stand and move throughout the store.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally be exposed to dust from donations.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly standing, bending and stooping and occasionally walking.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to lift the arms shoulder height or above.
• While performing the duties of this job the employee must be able to push or pull clothing racks weighing up to 15 pounds.
