Job summary

arc Thrift Stores is seeking a Donation Attendant to assist with pricing donated merchandise and stocking the sales floor. You will select items for pricing, remove trash, and ensure merchandise is cleaned and prepared for pricing as required.

The role involves working on the floor to help customers, maintain a tidy work area, and support the pricer team to meet sales and production goals. Training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or production is helpful but not required.
• Ability to identify saleable merchandise.
• Ability to prepare merchandise for pricing.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a production environment.
• Good customer service skills.
• Ability to work quickly with accuracy.
• Ability to organize a workstation.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Selects items to be priced and removes trash from donated merchandise.
• Cleans merchandise as necessary and sorts for the department pricer.
• Tags items before or after pricing depending on merchandise type.
• Stocks the sales floor with priced merchandise.
• Maintains a safe, clean and organized work area.
• Assists department pricers in achieving sales and production goals.
• On the sales floor, assists customers during shopping.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Store Manager/Assistant Manager.
