Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a team member to thoroughly examine and grade donated goods for sale in our retail stores. The role involves processing items efficiently to meet daily production goals while adhering to SOPs and safety practices.

You will contribute to a fast-paced environment, support multiple work areas, and work closely with management to solve issues. Strong English communication, organization, and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Must have good oral and written communication skills in English
• Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to demonstrate sound judgement
• Must be 18 years or older to operate forklift (16–17 not allowed)

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly examine and grade donated goods
• Effectively process goods to meet daily production goals
• Pivot to multiple work areas to support daily production goals
• Identify and quickly solve problems and/or seek management support
• Communicate with management and team members; promote cooperation and teamwork
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area; follow safety practices
• Attend required trainings and meetings; perform other duties as assigned
