Job summary

Butler Rehab & Healthcare center in Missouri is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead our clinical staff and uphold compassionate, patient-centered care across our single-floor, 98-bed facility.

The DON will set objectives for the nursing department, ensure regulatory compliance, manage budgets, mentor staff, and maintain high-quality standards while promoting a supportive work environment for all team members.

Responsibilities

• Direct, oversee and evaluate all nursing personnel (RNs, LPNs, etc.).
• Set objectives and long-term goals for the nursing department.
• Develop and enforce policies for legal compliance and high-quality care.
• Control budgets and monitor expenditures within the department.
• Resolve issues and deficiencies promptly to maintain care standards.
• Manage record-keeping procedures and documentation.
