POSITION SUMMARY:

The Director of Nursing has 24-hour accountability and is responsible for delivering high-quality, cost-effective healthcare, achieving positive clinical outcomes, and ensuring patient, family, and employee satisfaction. He/she oversees the operations, coordination, and direction of nursing and patient care within the facility, ensuring compliance with the mission, vision, values, policies of Reliant Management Group, and applicable regulations.

The DON participates in strategic planning and budgeting, leading an effective leadership team with the necessary clinical expertise and certifications.

Position Relationship

Collaborates with nursing personnel, physicians, consultants, and the interdisciplinary team to assess needs and provide education.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure.
  • At least five years of clinical experience, with two years in nursing supervision in long-term care.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Verification of TST as required by law.
