Job summary

The Texas Rangers are seeking a Minor League Athletic Trainer to work in the Dominican Republic for the 2027 championship season. You will provide daily treatments, rehab progressions, injury prevention, and game coverage for players at the Dominican Complex.

Responsibilities include collaborating with medical staff, setting up the training room, maintaining records in MLB EMR, and communicating player health status to coaches. Travel to Spring Training may be required.

Qualifications

• Current BOC Certification required.
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required.
• Prior baseball experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop injury prevention programs with DR medical staff.
• Provide immediate and rehab care for injuries during practices and games.
• Create rehabilitation plans and track progress for players.
• Maintain the athletic training room and ensure supplies are stocked.
• Record injuries and treatments in MLB EMR and communicate status to coaches.
