Job summary

The Texas Rangers are seeking a highly motivated Minor League Physical Therapist to join the Performance department in Surprise, Arizona. The role will evaluate, treat, and rehabilitate players, guiding return-to-play decisions and maintaining evidence-based rehabilitation standards throughout the organization.

The ideal candidate holds a DPT, AZ license or eligibility, and has experience with athletic populations, outcome measures, and multidisciplinary collaboration in high-performance

Qualifications

• DPT is required.
• Arizona license or eligibility is required.
• Experience with athletic populations in sports medicine settings preferred.
• Strong knowledge of orthopedic and sports rehabilitation principles.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent rehabilitation standards and philosophy across the Minor League system.
• Evaluate, treat, and rehabilitate players following injury in collaboration with medical staff.
• Design and implement baseball-specific rehab programs including return-to-play plans.
• Assist with return-to-play decisions by integrating clinical findings and performance demands.
• Collaborate with Sport Science, Strength & Conditioning and athletic training staff.
• Maintain comprehensive medical records and progress notes.
• Contribute to ongoing development of organizational rehab philosophy.
• Travel for physician appointments and player care as needed.
