Urschel, a 100% employee-owned company, seeks a Domestic Order Clerk to join our Customer Service team in Chesterton, Indiana. The role processes domestic part quotes and orders and reports daily to our Corporate Headquarters in Chesterton, IN.

Ideal candidates will possess strong written and verbal communication, excellent organization, and basic math skills. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; prior customer service experience is preferred.

Urschel, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking a Domestic Order Clerk to join our Customer Service team. The Domestic Order Clerk will process domestic part quotes and orders. The position is not remote and will be required to report daily to the Corporate Headquarters in Chesterton, Indiana.

Starting pay is $21.77/hour

A day in the life of a Domestic Order Clerk includes processing customer quotation requests and new parts orders received through various communication channels. Key duties include reviewing orders for accuracy and completeness, entering quotations and sales orders into the ERP system, and issuing quote and order acknowledgements to customers. This position also involves resolving order entry questions, coordinating with internal departments, and supporting accurate, timely, and efficient order processing.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and multitasking abilities, solid mathematical aptitude, and proficiency with computers. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently are essential. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; previous customer service experience is preferred.
