Job summary

Woodlands Nursing Home is seeking a Domestic Assistant to help maintain clean, comfortable living areas for residents. You will follow cleaning schedules for communal and private spaces, assist with bedroom preparation, and manage supplies under the Home Manager’s guidance.

The role involves deep cleaning, adherence to health and safety policies, and working on a rota that includes weekends and some bank holidays. DBS checks and references are required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to the home's cleaning schedules for daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning of communal areas and residents' private accommodation
• Provide deep cleaning and preparation of bedrooms as required
• Manage cleaning supplies and notify the Home Manager or appropriate person when new supplies required
• Ensure the appropriate agent is used for each area to be cleaned
• Adhere to health and safety, COSHH, infection control policies and the disposal of waste policy

We are recruiting for a Domestic Assistant to join our team at Woodlands Nursing Home.

Woodlands Nursing Home is situated within a residential area of Ripley and provides care and nursing support to older adults and individuals living with dementia.

• Rate of Pay: £12.80 per hour
• Opportunities: 30-32 hours per week
• Shift times: 8am-2pm and 4pm-7pm
• Schedule: We work on a rota basis including weekends and some bank holidays
