Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Define functional requirements, workflows, and business rules for PLM implementations.
• Support design, testing, deployment, and issue resolution within PLM programs.

Job description

We are looking for a PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) Domain Expert / SME to provide deep functional and domain expertise across the PLM stream. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in PLM processes, solutions, and enterprise implementations, with the ability to work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and delivery leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the PLM stream.
• Provide functional and domain expertise across Product Lifecycle Management processes.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into PLM functional solutions.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand product development and lifecycle processes.
• Support PLM strategy, process design, gap analysis, and solution definition.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, business analysts, and project teams.
• Review existing PLM processes and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Define and validate functional requirements, workflows, and business rules.
• Participate in solution design, implementation, testing, and deployment activities.
• Support issue resolution and provide expert guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure PLM solutions align with business objectives and enterprise standards.
• Participate in workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirement-gathering sessions.
• Provide knowledge transfer and documentation for PLM processes and solutions.

Required Skills:

• Strong PLM domain expertise with experience working as a PLM SME / Domain Expert.
• Strong understanding of Product Lifecycle Management processes and workflows.
• Experience with enterprise PLM implementations and transformations.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional PLM solutions.
• Strong business analysis, process mapping, and gap analysis skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a client-facing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with major PLM platforms such as Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, Dassault ENOVIA/3DEXPERIENCE, or SAP PLM.
• Experience in product development, engineering, manufacturing, or supply-chain environments.
• Experience with PLM integrations and enterprise applications.
• Prior experience serving as a PLM Functional Lead, SME, Consultant, or Domain Architect.
