American Girl Dallas is seeking a dynamic Experience Associate to deliver friendly, informative service in our vibrant store. You will engage with guests, demonstrate doll hair care, perform ear piercing services when certified, and help create memorable visits for children and families.

The role requires sales experience in specialty retail, comfort working with children, and a willingness to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in specialty retail or service industry.
• Experience styling hair for dolls.
• Experience working with children.
• Willing to work a flexible retail schedule including days, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Approach, acknowledge and assist customers promptly.
• Execute style for dolls according to company standards and demonstrate proper doll hair care and doll skin care techniques
• Perform ear piercing services
• Training and certification provided to perform ear piercing; follow procedure checklist and complete waivers
• Conduct inventory of salon supplies and stock salon area; communicate replenishment needs
• Participate in salon events including Doll Hair and Manicure Day events, hair demos, and private birthday parties
• Assist in other areas of the store as needed
• Share product knowledge, answer questions, and upsell salon services and products
• Share information on store events, promotions, and activities with customers
• Collaborate with co-workers to create a positive work environment and train new associates
