Job summary

American Girl New York City retail store a seasonal Experience Associate role is available within Mattel. You will deliver friendly, informative service, handle doll styling tasks, and perform ear piercing services for dolls and guests after training.

You will engage with families, demonstrate doll hair care, participate in events and upsell salon services while sharing product knowledge. A dynamic team supports you in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must have sales experience in specialty retail or service industry.
• Experience styling hair for dolls preferred.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Must be willing to perform girl ear piercing services and flexible retail schedule including days, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Approach, acknowledge and assist customers promptly.
• Share product knowledge and upsell salon services and products.
• Perform doll hair styling and doll skin care techniques.
• Perform ear piercing services for dolls and dolls' guests after training.
• Conduct inventory and assist in salon area replenishment.
• Participate in salon events and private parties.
• Collaborate with team to train new associates and maintain a positive work environment.
