Job summary

Mattel's American Girl Retail team seeks an Experience Associate (Doll Hair Stylist) at the Chicago flagship to deliver friendly, informative salon services to dolls and their guests. You will adapt to changing business needs and support store operations.

Training is provided for ear piercing and hair styling. You will manage salon inventory, participate in events, and assist in other store areas as needed, contributing to memorable experiences for families and fans.

Responsibilities

• Approach, acknowledge, and assist customers promptly.
• Execute styles for dolls according to company standards and demonstrate proper doll hair care and doll skin care techniques.
• Perform ear piercing services for girls and dolls.
• Training and certification will be provided for ear piercing; follow checklists, waivers and review after-care.
• Conduct inventory of salon supplies and stock salon area and communicate replenishment needs when needed.
• Participate in Salon events including Doll Hair and Manicure Day events, hair demos, and private birthday parties.
• Assist in other areas of the store as needed.
