Dog Walker/Pet Sitter - Part-Time

Puppy Luv Pet Services is seeking a dedicated part-time Dog Walker/Pet Sitter to join our team in Arlington, VA, and Washington, DC. This on-call position involves providing daily exercise and walks for our clients' dogs, typically lasting 15 to 60 minutes. Responsibilities also include ensuring dogs' basic needs are met, such as checking food and water supplies after walks.

Additional duties may include delivering marketing materials and refilling dog treats in our contracted apartment communities.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

1. Pick up and drop off dogs from their homes
2. Follow special requests and conditions for each dog
3. Walk dogs outdoors in all weather conditions for 15 to 60 minutes
4. Provide exercise and potty breaks for dogs
5. Ensure the safety of dogs and people around them
6. Remove pet waste
7. Manage multiple dogs during walks
8. Take photos of dogs for client updates
9. Respond to inquiries about services and dogs
10. Record details of each walk and any abnormalities observed
11. Occasionally provide house sitting services, depending on availability

Minor Duties and Responsibilities

1. Ensure home security during pick-up and drop-off
2. Give dogs love and attention
