Do you have a passion for dogs and a talent for training? We’re looking for an enthusiastic, reliable Dog Trainer or an Apprentice Dog Trainer to join our growing team where we provide high-quality dog boarding, daycare, off leash adventures and training programs for dogs and their families.

What You’ll Do:

• Work one-on-one and in small groups with dogs during their stays
• Reinforce basic obedience and address mild behavior issues
• Create customized training plans tailored to each dog’s needs
• Ensure all dogs are engaged, safe, and having fun
• Communicate progress and tips with pet parents
• Facilitate private training sessions with dogs and their human(s)
• Assist in our boarding/daycare program and staff

What We’re Looking For:

• 1-2 years experience in dog training and/or dog behavior modification (certification preferred but not required) OR
• 1-2 years experience working in the dog industry (doggie daycares, rescues, shelters, boarding facilities, grooming, pet sitting, etc.) OR
• No professional background working with dogs, but have passion for creating better relationships between dogs and their humans
• Knowledge of positive reinforcement and balanced training methods
• Knowledge of ecollar technology a plus but not required
• A calm, confident, and compassionate demeanor with all breeds
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Enjoy working outside everyday
• Can lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis

This position would work 7-11:30am and 2:30-5:30pm 5 days a week (you can choose which 5).
