Job summary

All American Pet Resorts of North Brunswick is seeking reliable, energetic Dog Handlers/Kennel Attendants to join our pet-care team at our busy luxury dog boarding and daycare resort. You’ll care for dogs, supervise play, feed, clean, walk, and ensure each dog is safe and well cared for.

We are hiring for weekday afternoon/evening shifts around 1:00 PM, with some weekend shifts. Full-time opportunities are also available.

Qualifications

• Previous professional experience working with dogs is strongly preferred.
• Comfortable handling dogs of different sizes, breeds and temperaments.
• Reliable and punctual — our dogs depend on us being here.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive daily care for dogs in residence.
• Prepare and serve meals according to individual feeding instructions.
• Administer medications as directed.
• Supervise group play and monitor interactions for safety.
• Walk dogs and provide individual attention when needed.
• Clean and sanitize suites, play areas and common areas.
• Handle laundry and other daily resort-care tasks.
• Communicate important information about the dogs to team members.
• Help keep the resort clean, safe and running smoothly.

Love dogs and don’t mind working hard? All American Pet Resorts of North Brunswick is looking for reliable, energetic Dog Handlers/Kennel Attendants to join our pet-care team at our busy luxury dog boarding and daycare resort.

We are primarily hiring for weekday afternoon/evening shifts beginning around 1:00 PM, along with some weekend shifts. Applicants should be available at least 20 hours per week. Full-time opportunities are also available.

This is a hands-on position. You’ll spend your shift caring for dogs, supervising play, feeding, cleaning, walking and making sure every dog in our care is safe, comfortable and well cared for.

What You’ll Do

• Provide attentive daily care for dogs staying at our resort
• Prepare and serve meals according to individual feeding instructions
• Administer medications as directed
• Supervise group play and monitor dogs for safe, appropriate interactions
• Walk dogs and provide individual attention when needed
• Clean and sanitize suites, play areas and common areas
• Handle laundry and other daily resort-care tasks
• Communicate important information about the dogs to other team members
• Help wherever needed to keep the resort clean, safe and running smoothly
