Job summary

Heart + Paw is seeking a playful and energetic Play Coordinator for our Cherry Hill, NJ center. You will supervise dog playgroups, ensure safe, low-stress enrichment, and communicate updates to pet parents throughout the day.

Ideal candidates love dogs, have customer service experience, and can lift up to 50 pounds. Previous dog daycare or day camp experience is preferred. Enjoy a modern facility with opportunities for growth and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Passion for dogs and knowledge of basic animal behavior.
• Customer service experience with a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Strength and stamina to keep up with active dogs up to 50 pounds.
• Prior experience in a dog daycare, playgroup, or day camp setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and leading dog playgroups using low-stress handling techniques.
• Ensuring all pets receive appropriate food, water, and enrichment.
• Documenting updates and communicating effectively with pet parents.
• Assisting with dog bathing and daily cleaning to maintain a pristine and safe environment.
• Promoting the center's full range of services, including veterinary care, grooming, daycare, and boarding.

The pay range reflects the anticipated base pay for this position and is determined based on experience, skill set, location and other factors.

Pay Range
