Job description

Unleashed Academy is looking for dog daycare & kennel attendants for weekdays, weekends and overnight shifts.

At Unleashed, our kennel/daycare attendants supervise play groups, provide potty breaks, food, medication, and snuggle-time with dogs who attend daycare during the day and sleep overnight in our boarding suites or with the attendant in our "group boarding studio." This position requires sustained physical activity and a tolerance for barking and cleaning up urine, feces, and vomit. Our staff members must be active and on their feet for most of the day, have patience with loud and rowdy (but lovable!) dogs, communicate well with customers and staff-mates, and have a strong interest in canine behavior. An understanding of canine communication and body language is necessary to efficiently recognize and interrupt inappropriate social behavior or overly-rough play, and split dogs into appropriate play groups according to personality and play style. An interest in reward-based dog training methods is strongly encouraged.
