Job summary

The Pet Resort at Greenspring is seeking an Assistant Supervisor/Team Lead (full time) to help manage daily operations, ensure pets are well cared for, and lead kennel staff in a fast-paced, pet-centered environment in Williamsburg, VA.

Qualifications

• Animal Care Experience required.
• Knowledgeable of dog and cat body language and behavior.
• Ability to monitor basic medications.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong communication and supervisory skills.
• Willing to work some weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Help oversee boarding, doggy daycare, and other daily care
• Ensure pets are fed, bathed, given medications, and monitored throughout the day
• Support and guide kennel attendants to ensure daily tasks are done
• Train and help new team members
• Contribute to daily operations like cleaning, feeding, reservations, etc.
